Richard Ryan is a misplaced son of the South, who has a passion for all things Southern, and all things country. My earliest memories of music involve sitting around the family stereo and listening to my parent’s records, and yes, 8-track tapes. I grew up loving the Blues, Southern and Classic Rock. My grandparents were big influences in getting me to appreciate the Classic Country, Southern Gospel, and Bluegrass formats.

My family loves to go to live music, whether it’s traveling 6-7 hours to catch an Alabama show when they first returned, or going to see a local or regional act in a club downtown. Even when I’ve been backstage at some big shows, I have always approached it with the heart of a fan. I hope that comes through during my show. I want to share the passion I feel when I hear my favorite songs and artists everyday.

I am married to my best friend. We are parents of one beautiful girl, two crazy cats, and two playful dogs.
